SIGNAL is a fictional institution, a concept by Exe.Eyes Labs. Not a bank. Not an offer.

    Exe.Eyes LabsA fictional institution

    SIGNAL

    Everything else is noise.

    02Manifesto

Every price, every payment, every market is a signal buried in noise. We built a bank that listens for it.

The Dish, Stanford · Steve Jurvetson, CC BY 2.0

Signal-to-noise ratio: the power of what you want over the power of everything else.

    03Banking

    Money that compounds quietly.

Rate is illustrative; tap it to change. The maths is exact, to the cent, every month.

    04The cobra

    It doesn't hear the noise.

It feels the one tremor that matters.

A cobra has no outer ears and no eardrums. It feels the ground through its jaw, and strikes.

    05The card

SIGNAL Black. Engraved with the cobra.

    Body
Black metal, bead-blasted, brushed; polished 45° chamfer
    Size
    85.60 × 53.98 mm · ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1
    Engraving
Intaglio, cut from the cobra's own form, in profile; emerald eyes · #00000000
    Number
None printed. It lives in the app.
    06Paying

Tap. There and back before you blink.

Physical minimum: light in standard single-mode fibre (≈204,000 km/s) on the great-circle path. Real cable routes are longer. The 200 ms budget is SIGNAL's, and SIGNAL is fiction.

    07Software

    One ledger. Every entry balanced.

Entries here are simulated in your browser. The rule they obey is not: every debit has an equal credit, so the sum is always zero.

    08Markets

Thirty-six years of the price of time.

U.S. Treasury par yield curve, every week from 2 Jan 1990. Source: U.S. Department of the Treasury (public domain), delayed one business day.

    09Investment banking

    Two signals. One waveform.

A merger adds two signals. Where they agree they reinforce; where they don't they cancel. The work is finding the alignment before you sign.

    10Risk

    Pull 2008 through it.

The shock is real: the S&P 500 closed at 676.53 on 9 March 2009, 56.8% below its peak of 1,565.15 on 9 October 2007 (Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta). The balance sheet is SIGNAL's, and illustrative: 100 of assets (50 cash and T-bills, 30 loans that lose 5% at the full shock, 20 equities) against 82 of deposits and 18 of capital.

    11Security

    The vault is maths.

This is real encryption, done by your browser's Web Crypto. The noise on screen is the ciphertext. Only the key on this page can resolve it.

    12Private wealth

A hundred years of signal, on one line.

Wealth is patience made visible. One hundred dollars in the S&P 500 at the start of 1928, dividends reinvested, through a depression, a world war, oil shocks, 1987, 2000 and 2008.

S&P 500 annual total returns, 1928–2025, from Aswath Damodaran (NYU Stern). Nominal dollars, before tax and fees. Past returns are history, not a promise.
